About

We are a family of faith; faith in Jesus, who is the Son of God and our Savior.  We are His followers and the desire of our heart is to learn from Him how to love God and to love man.  He is showing us that pursuing the following passions helps us fulfill that desire:

Worship the Living God

Share Life together in our church family

Serve those around us, who have yet to become followers of Jesus.

Our family of faith began in 2006 as a small group of families began meeting on Sunday evenings for a time of prayer and encouragement.  Each family was in a season when they were seeking where the Lord would call them each for a church home.  Over time as they shared with each other and prayed for each other, they became aware that the fellowship and time together on Sunday evenings became more and more like their church home.

Their prayers then began to take on the added dimension of “Lord, are you calling us to become a church?”  Before long there was a decided peace and agreement that God was truly asking them to begin a new work and be a local Body of Christ.  Approximately five families began meeting each Lord’s Day in a carport to praise Him and to hear from His Word. Soon after, the Lord began to draw additional families into the fellowship and they selected five men to serve as Elders.  As the size and fervency of the fellowship grew, the Elders were lead to seek a pastor to help the congregation grow in the Lord.

Bob Underwood, a church planter in West Virginia, was called to shepherd the young fellowship.  Bob helped guide the congregation to incorporate as a church, Living Faith Fellowship, in April 2007.  He also assisted the congregation in moving from the carport and home venue into an industrial building in Peachtree City; which the young fellowship enjoyed renovating into a worship center.  The early families still enjoy sharing about baptisms in a plastic swimming pool to this day.

A year after incorporating and moving into the space on Dividend Drive in Peachtree City, the church called their second pastoral staff member.  On April 1, 2008, Chris Perkins and his family joined the ministry team of Living Faith Fellowship.  The church family and the Elder/Pastor team were and are ever guided by the desire to be a church “by God’s Design”, which means to look intently at scripture for how Jesus and the inspired writers of the New Testament taught about the church.  We strive to live under the tension  of God’s Word calling us toward His plans and not our own.  We are grateful for the strength of the plumb line of God’s Word on our practices, goals, and ministries.  We eagerly follow Him in sharing the message of Jesus and God’s love to the world around us in Jerusalem, Judea/Samaria, and the farthest places of the earth.  Pastor Bob was instrumental in leading us on our first cross cultural mission trip to Punta Gorda, Belize.

In the Fall of 2009, Pastor Bob Underwood resigned as a minister of Living Faith Fellowship and after serving in an interim position as teaching pastor for five months, the Elders sensed God’s calling to recognize Pastor Chris as the Pastor Elder of the church.  He continues to serve our church family today.

In the Spring of 2010, God opened the door for us to move onto our campus at Redwine Road in Fayetteville.  We look forward to our weekly times of worship and discipleship.  We find great joy in worshipping side by side and serving others as we shine for Jesus.

In 2020 we broke ground on our new Children’s Education Building and dedicated it to the Lord in 2021. We look forward to all God has planned as we follow His design of loving Him before all others and then loving others for the glory of Christ.
